Hi!
I'm Helena (that's hel-eena, in case you were curious) Bluedorn.
I am a sinner, saved by the grace of God. It is my greatest desire to be used by God to glorify him.
I was homeschooled from the very beginning, loved it, and hope to do it with my own children some day. I am the youngest of 5 children.
I am a Chicago Cubs fan. Go Cubbies!!
I love to: flower garden, DANCE (Swing, Square dancing, ECD, etc.), listen to live music, take long walks, bicycle on country roads, sew, crochet and knit, do ribbon embroidery, travel to new places, make things pretty, decorate, try new recipes, take photos with my brother Nathan's marvelous camera, watch good movies, ride our oldest (and safest) horse with my sister, paint, talk with friends and family, eat raspberries, scatter the wispy seeds from dried milkweed plants and dress in a feminine way.
My newest passion is moonlight.
I don't like: tornadoes, ticks and chiggers, making decisions on an empty stomach, cold and windy days, scrubbing the bathtub and finding the meat still in the freezer 30 minutes before dinner.
I am 5ft 1in tall and like it. Bring on the short jokes.
We live way out in the country, amongst corn and bean fields, in the most beautiful spot in the country, Northeast Illinois.
We have a small farm on which resides: 4 German Shepherds, 1 tame barn cat and 1 visiting barn cat, 2 horses and 2 parrots.
My favorite color is pink.
My family runs the home business of Trivium Pursuit which sells homeschooling materials.
My brother's business is Christian Logic.
Also, my sisters and I have a website where we sell Handmade Gifts (that desperately needs to be updated).
