A Letter From Emerson Spiller

Greetings! I’m Emerson, and I am excited to be part of this year’s Homeschool ALUMNI National Reunion in Larkspur, Colorado!
As Entertainment Director, my duties will cover handling all of the technical aspects of the sessions and performances, and making sure everything runs smoothly in the auditorium. And even more exciting, I am helping coordinate this year’s Reunion Praise Band!
If you’ve been to past Reunions and enjoyed the sessions and entertainment, you will have a blast this year with our best lineup of speakers yet (including: Kevin Swanson and Eric & Leslie Ludy!), a Roundtable Discussion, HSAir Live 2009, and new for this year, the Reunion Talent Show (see Greg’s letter), plus live music/praise & worship all four days!
More about the worship- I am also excited to announce that Jim Karpowitz will be leading the Praise & Worship, along with a full band (including me on drums!). The music will feature an eclectic range of tunes with a modern, contemporary feel. Morning worship will be held in the main auditorium everyday before the first session, acoustic worship Thursday night during the Bonfire, specially prepared music throughout the weekend, and a full hour of worship Sunday before we all say goodbye.
And not to forget, if you have audio/visual experience and want to join the technical team, or you have musical talent and want to be part of the Praise Band, you can contact me at emerson.spiller@homeschoolalumni.org - can’t wait to hear from you!
Thanks for reading. I sincerely hope you will join me this August for, what will be, one of the best events of the year! See you in the Rockies!
