**Married to Elizabeth as of 4/6/08!!!** Easy to remember, right? ;)
Wow! Going to the '07 HSA reunion was a real eye opener! It was such a blessing to be there!
Well, it's not all about me, for one; it's all about the Father and His Son. However, the blessings that They have given so graciously unto me are such: I live in a family that I love dearly. My parents and sisters have given me a good platform of learning how to love others. My sisters are the best, but don't tell them that.... it's might go to their head...err...heart. ; ) I might not understand you always, but I hope I will always be understanding.
My friends are many in number, and from all age groups. Dare I say, I have more friends in my parents age group than my own! That may change someday, but so it is now. My friends are dear to me, because they are willing to know the real me and they invest their own time to do so. What a treasure they are!
I go to college now and work at Wilson Tool. This summer has gone by fast! Little Isaac is getting quite big. Just under a year old and walking like crazy! He's so adorable and SO MUCH FUN! What a blessing he is!
Someday I would like to purchase ten to twenty acres of land and build my home. Building a house is lots of fun. I will consider the possibility of buying a preexisting house and remodeling it, if need be. I would like to plant apple trees, blueberries, elderberry trees, raspberries and the like. I love healthy food and growing it myself would be a dream come true to me. Actually I have been experimenting now, because I do have 20 blueberry bushes and a couple apple trees that I have planted here. The real reason for such a dream stems from the words in Proverbs 24:27 ? Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house. Someday, I'd like to provide good food for a family of my own and for others too.
I went to public school K-4 and was homeschooled after that. What a blessing it [homeschooling] was!
Update: Now I have two kids and another on the way! God is good! I have a house on five acres and at the moment we have a nice flock of ducks. My wife and I also started a website to sell soap @ www.justduckysoap.com Never thought I'd help set up a website.... Life is so interesting! :)
Bible, obviously. Herb, nutritional, or other health books. ( I find them easy to digest. ; ) ) Some Louis Lamour books too. Cooking books are fun to read, and I like skimming the dictionary. I like to play with words, so be on the look out. :D I'll give you an example: my display name, Command Depot. What I mean by this, is that I hope God will bring His train of thought ( His commands) into my depot ( mind). It also can stand for," Come, Andy-pooh!" I don't know why I let you know that...
Conservative Christian Contemporary.... I like to be able to distinguish the words they are saying.... My favorite artist is probably Michael Card. I have almost all of his CDs. I like classical music too.
Glad to hear that, Andy! Tell your wife hi for me. Congrats on your college work, and blessings on the job-hunting!
Yes, things are good down here, and definitely busy. I'm attending my second year of community college with my sis, who's having her first year (we're two years apart, but I took a gap year after high school). It's going well...I switched to a computer science major and am still exploring that.
I've been baking challah bread lately, trying to help out a bit with an organization called Numana that hosts packaging events where volunteers mix dry ingredients for casserole meals and seal them in bags to be shipped to third world countries that need them, along with just keeping on top of my 18 hours of school (including rock climbing, which I've done before, and which is quite fun as relaxation/a workout).
At any rate...take care, and thanks for checking in! Good to hear from you... ~Olivia
How are things in Kansas? We are having lots of fun in Wisconsin.
Hey there! Good to hear from you! You have a baby now! Coming to visit any time soon by chance? Been very busy, but enjoying life overall...switched from an accounting major, and now am exploring computer science...I also tutor at school, and am really excited about some opportunities that look like they *might* work out, from helping package food for third world countries, to visiting Mexico on a short missions trip over Winter Break. We'll see. Hope you and yours are doing well...take care and update if you get a chance! Blessings, Olivia
