I am a member of HSA's Four Grand Club or 4GC which was founded by Gregolas. It makes me laugh a little to remember how shocked I was when Greg pointed out that I was such a prolific poster. :)
I was homeschooled K through 12 and graduated in 2003. After graduation, I become state-certified as a teacher assistant/paraprofessional and worked as a live-in nanny. On 12-26-05, my wonderful husband Eddie asked me to marry him and we were married on 9-2-06. We have two precious babies: Jonathan Peter, born 9-28-07 and Liberty Elisabeth, born 7-1-09. I love being a mommy!
I am a stay-at-home/work-at-home mom to my kiddos which keeps me pretty busy. I run a blog (deals, freebies, coupons, sales, frugal tips, reviews & giveaways, recipes, etc) and have a "steal and deals" segment on our local Fox station's morning show. My husband works full-time and is also going back to school to become a registered nurse with the eventual goal of being a nurse practitioner.
I like studying theology and other controversial Bible topics. I consider myself Reformed Baptist (one of those darn Calvinists :D) but currently attend a Reformed non-denominational church which I love. Unlike the stereotypical Baptist, I enjoy rock music, dancing (especially swing, contra, ballroom, vintage), and fruit margaritas.
My husband was not homeschooled but we both want to homeschool our children when the time comes. I think our different backgrounds bring diversity to our marriage!
Before I married Eddie, I lived in Rhode Island and which is where my parents and two of my three brothers live (the third brother is a graduate student at UCLA). I miss them but I like living in the Indiana/Kentucky area. Right now my extended family consists of my parents Bill and Debbie; my brothers Matt (22), Daniel (15), and Andrew (13); Eddie's parents Dusty and Barbara; Eddie's older brother Scott and his son Zach; and Eddie's younger brother and his wife, Jeremy and Jen and their daughter Taryn.
Favorite Books:

We actually went to a really good church there. I think there were prolly issues with the youth group we wouldn't have agreed with, but Raqu and I were too young for that to be a problem at the time. But the preaching was great - very biblical and down-to-earth. That's the pastor I got saved under. He's the first preacher I remember listening to and being old enough to understand.
My dad was a Captain at the time, Capt. Ray Sheen. I think he was at BMO somewhere around '84-'87.
Mostly what I remember about that base was the BX, commissary and the air shows. They had some awesome airshows out there!

I'd be curious if our dads knew each other too. We didn't live on base so our families may not have known each other unless they went to the same church as us (Emmanuel Baptist in, um, San Bernardino I think).
My dad was in the Ballistic Missile Office... we tease that he was a "rocket scientist," which he really was. He was the program manager for the MX Peacekeeper if I remember correctly. Which he uses to swagger around occasionally and declare "I won the Cold War." LOL

Holy cow, it's a small world! How long did you live at Norton? What did your dad do? Mine was in BMO working on the MX Peacekeeper and other such rockety things.
You would have been born when we were living there then. We moved to PA in '87, if I remember right.
