Hi My name is Dave Skiles. Since I am the only Dave Skiles that I know of, I am also known as Dave the Skiles. But when you get to know me I hope you don't know me by my name, but by my actions. I hope that in everything I do that the Lord Jesus will be glorified by my actions, so that others see more of Jesus and His charecter rather then the charecter that I am. Because I am a charecter. I am one of those people that struggles with getting a grip on my goofyness, less people think that I have no depth to me at all.
If you have spent time here on HSA you will know that I am one of the many Skiles here. My cool sisters are Liz hannah, Beckie, and Abby.
I live in a small town of about 2500 people called Medicine Lodge, Kansas. It is a great little town and the Lord is really working here. the main industry here is agriculture, more specificly, ranching. So that is my job, a ranch hand. I really enjoy some parts of it but building fence can get old.
I attend a great non-denominational Bible church called Community Bible Fellowship( http://www.cbftimes.com/). I am involved with the youth group wich is held every wensday night. The church also runs a teen center on main street in town. (http://realitycheck.cbftimes.com/) this is where most of my involvment comes as a sponser, or persn in charge.
Well that is a little about me except that I am in my LAST semester at Pratt community college (www.prattcc.edu) and am ,Lord willing, to transfer to a 4 year bible college to major in youth ministries/leardership in the spring. I look forward to hangging with you around HSA!!
