About Me:

Family...
I have 7 brothers and one very special sister (we are 16 years apart), and I also have some great sister-in-laws! I'm grateful my parents have been married over 35 years and they gave us a godly heritage.

My True Love...
I met my husband when we were 14 through our local homeschool group. Our parents were on the board of directors for the Lancaster County (PA) Homeschool group, and Ben and I and several others planned all the Homeschool teen activities for our county. We did some plays together, in fact when we were 17 years old we did a play that another mom wrote called "There's No Place Like Home (school)" and Ben played the Dad and I played the mom! Then Ben was gone on a lot of mission trips including serving in Russia with IBLP for 10 1/2 mo. When he returned home, he began coresponding with my dad, and we began courting in December, 1995. We were married on June 8, 1996. We have 5 children and we homeschool them.

About Me...
I love to sew ( I used to have a sewing business called Nursing Under Cover), scrapbook, decorate, and I play my flute on our church's worship team.

God's calling...
Ben and I felt God wanted us to serve Him in full time ministry when we were married, and after using us in several situations to defend and help children in abusive or difficult circumstances, He put Christian Camping on our hearts. In 2003 we founded Camp David of the Ozarks, a free summer camp for children of prisoners. These children are the most at-risk children in America today, and many have never heard of Jesus Christ except as a swear word. As Camp Directors, Ben and I enjoy working together to plan and develop the camp program each year to specifically meet these children's needs. I enjoy designing newsletters, websites, promo DVDs, power points, and all the promotional material that is necessary in a ministry. We are always looking for quality young people to serve as counselors and support staff. Serving as a summer missionary at Camp David can change your life!!! My brother Joel Eldredge says, "It's better than fun!"
