Well, I love to laugh, and I love seeing others laugh. I love seeing new places, I am a big fan of old architecture, buildings with lots of intricate details and full of history. I also love the inside of buildings/old homes and I love interior decorating.
I love cafes, I don't really know why, I'm not a caffeine addict, but I love sitting down, being with a friend and enjoying a good cup of joe, or chai.
That's always exciting to me.
I love being active, whether that is sports, outdoor trips, or just washing my car, I like doing things.
That's profound eh?
I love travelling, and someday I would love to go to Europe and Israel.
I love my family. I am blessed beyond recognition to have such wise and loving people around me.
And I am excited about this wonderful family, this online community that forms HSA. I am so happy to have found so many great and precious brothers and sisters and hope to get to know all of you. And for those of you I have just gotten to know...(which is pretty much everyone...lol) "I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always offering prayer with joy, in my every prayer for you all. In view of your participation in the gospel from the first day until now."
Keep on shining HSA!
The most inspirational book ever written....the Bible.
A great book by Catherine Booth (founder of The Salvation Army) called "Agressive Christianity." Another great book I loved was "Being a Believer in an Unbelieving World." I also love alot of biographies of the older evangelists like D.L. Moody, Hudson Taylor, John Bunyan, Amy Carmichael, Catherine Booth, C.S. Lewis, etc. Another great book I recommend for everyone is "I Dared to Call Him Father" by Bilquis Sheikh, it's an incredibile testimony, and shares many truths and struggles of all believers. Get it if you can.
I love jazz.....I love Miles Davis, Billie Holiday, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Frankie Sinatra...I love all the old classics. (Any of the 1940's-1950's genre) I also love french music, but again, it needs to sound vintage...
I love the old Christian stuff too...believe it or not Steve Camp is an amazing songwriter...along with Keith Green, Margaret Becker, the old Amy Grant stuff....those artists really challenge my faith...big time...
I love upbeat songs too from aritists like Imogen Heap, Stevie Wonder, Mutemath, Sheryl Crow, etc...
I also love soundtracks, because I love variety.
I didn't narrow this down very well.
Long story short: It all depends on my mood...(which goes everywhere, just ask my sister...lol)
So, of course…I’m dropping you a little note to encourage you to come to this year’s reunion! I know just a little bit about the weekend…and I can promise that not only will it be worth every penny…you’ll have a blast the entire time!!
