Favorite Music:
Why is it that just about every conservative Christian homeschooler lists pretty much nothing but CCM, Celtic, and Classical as their "favorite" music? Come on, people, most CCM is mediocre at best. Even the lyrics ... okay, there are some gems in there, but the vast majority is everybody saying what everybody else already said in almost the exact same words. Either that or repeating themselves fifty times to hypnotize the audience into thinking they're worshipping ... >_>
There are masterpieces and abysses in every genre, as well as a huge amount of mediocrity (and, yes, the same holds true for Celtic and classical music). I'm exploring the wide field of "music", and I like a little bit of everything (though rap isn't exactly my style) ... but my all-time favorite type of music is symphonic metal ... particularly from bands like Kamelot, Epica, Within Temptation, and Nightwish.
But even above and beyond that ... my current top favorite band is
The Crüxshadows.

Hey Everyone,
I have been thinking about trying to set every month that people could get together at a certain place somewhere in Branson/Springfield, MO area (place to be decided later).
You are probably wondering why? The answer is, so that we can meet new people, hang out, and have a great time playing games, and just plain getting to know each other. Who knows you may even find that special someone Smile. The idea is to create a coffee house like experience. a place where young men and women can meet and talk comfortably.
So if you are interested either PM me or Post with your thoughts.
The way it will be worked out like who will decide the place, where we meet, what we do, and the like, will be talked about after I see some people post or PM's. So if I do not get any posts or PM's this idea will die, for now.
