I am first and most importantly a follower of my savior, Jesus Christ and my only goal in life is that everything I do would bring honor and glory to Him. I am the oldest of seven. I did not feel led to go to college after graduating from homeschool, but chose alternative routes for continuing my education. I felt called to pursue midwifery and completed a correspondence course while still in high school and apprenticed with a midwife several different times. I now practice on my own and recently became a CPM. I also did a two year course and became an Herbalist. My second greatest passion next to the Lord is music. I grew up in a musical family (mostly on bluegrass) and learned to play piano at a young age. After waiting a long time, my desire to learn to play fiddle was finally fulfilled at age 13. I now play in a band with my brother and two others and my love for music has only grown and expanded to many different genres including bluegrass, celtic, jazz, swing, praise and worship, etc. I love being outdoors and enjoy hiking, swimming, volleyball and softball, riding our four-wheeler, and reading, cooking, and hanging out with my friends and laughing until my sides hurt. I would love to someday take a trip out west and see lots of cool places like Yellowstone, and also a trip up the east coast. And my dream of all dreams is to visit Prince Edward Island (that stems from growing up with my best friend from the age of five watching Anne of Green Gables). That's basically me- I may sound boring and typical, but those who know me well see my quirks and strangeness!
Favorite Books:
Anything by Brock and Bodie Thoene, Francine Rivers, and Randy Alcorn. I love Gene Stratton Porter's books, too. Pretty much anything that I pick up that can keep my attention I'll read!

Favorite Music:
Alison Krauss is #1, Nickel Creek and Chris Thile and the Punch Brothers, Stuart Duncan is my forever favorite fiddle player, Rhonda Vincent, Claire Lynch, Bela Fleck and Edgar Meyer, Jerry Douglas, Casey Driessen, Chris Tomlin, Chris Rice, and a whole lot more.

I don't know if you get on here much any more but I thought I'd leave you a note anyway. I hope you're doing well. I'm sure life is hectic now that you're a mama but I know you don't mind. Have a wonderful day.

Ephesians 1:16-17 "I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better."

Hello, Mrs. Brewer. Thank you SO much for the letter. I poured over it and it was a huge encouragement to me. I'm working on a letter back. Thank you, Amy! *hugs*
