I'm married to the most wonderful girl! We got married April 20, 2013. I'm in awe that God brought me such a godly and beautiful wife.
I'm quiet and reserved. I love to read. My interests include: hunting, combat sports, survival training, firearms, weight lifting, English Country Dancing, dogs, country/farm life, Reformed theology, logic and apologetics.
I'm a Christian of Reformed faith and hold to the five Solas and the doctrines of grace. I am studying credo and padeobaptisim but am leaning more toward credo.
Some of my favorite living preachers are: John MacArthur, R.C. Sproul, John Piper, Alistair Begg and Paul Washer. I also greatly enjoy Ravi Zacharias.
My family and I have lived in the city, suburbs and country, and there is nothing like country living. God willing I'll have a farm of my own some day.
I attended and graduated a four year carpenters apprenticeship training program. And I became a journeyman carpenter.
The work I did was mainly commercial. It included but was not limited to: installing cabinets and counter tops, trim, blocking, door jambs, doors and hardware, marker and tack boards, concrete forming and placing, shooting elevations, demolition, bathroom partitions and accessories etc...
I believe in biblical courtship and if God wills that I be married will pursue that model.
My sister Dania is on here and happily married to a fellow HSAer, Wood.
I have attended Summit Ministries and Front Sight Firearms Training Institute.
Both are places of learning that I heartily recommend.
Favorite Books:
Above all the HOLY BIBLE.
I like many of the classic tales of courage, honor and chivalry. Some of my favorite authors are:
G.A. Henty, Louis L'Amour, Howard Pyle, Frank Peretti,
Sir Aurthur Conan Doyle.
And other useful "How-to" non-fiction books pertaining to the subjects I mentioned above.

Favorite Music:
Some styles of music that I like are:
Country, Celtic, Classical, and some contemporary Christian. I like songs that tell a story.
My favorite hymn is "Be Thou my Vision."

Had fun seeing that original picture from the first reunion, during the alumni Olympics. It had my bro David, and Brian Plett on your team I think. Fun times!!!! My family was just talking about yours the other night, when I gave them a quick update on you. And we all had to agree you all are one of the most gracious families we have ever known. So you can pass that along to them, when you talk next.

George Strait is one of my favorites, maybe I should say one of my favorite voices to listen to. I'm the same way, I like individual songs from certain artists. Other favorite voices would include Josh Turner, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Trace Adkins, Rodney Adkins, Scotty McCreery & Blake Shelton -just to name a few! But probably just a few songs from each of them, I put alot of value on the lyrics!
I know my brother & sister have a few Louis L'Amour books, I just haven't had the chance to read them. Maybe this winter!
Have a good day & God bless!
