I AM THE KIND OF GIRL WHO PUTS BROWN SUGAR IN THE SALT SHAKER.
...Take that as you like.........
I am first and foremost a daughter of the King and the bride of the Love of my life. I want to spend the rest of my life learning more about what the means! Of course, I haven't always felt that way...I was born and raised in a very strong Christian home, and early on made a profession of faith. I have no idea when it was that God truly saved me, but the love, faith and joy I have in Him are very new. It seems like for years I was looking for God, but didn't want to surrender to Him. Then He finally showed me that I need Him - desperately - and only Him. So for the past few months I have been reveling in what is finally a real relationship with the One who truly loves me... Already I have let Him down, but He's still just as faithful as He always was, and He is teaching me to be the same.
...Sorry...that just makes me smile!!
I am a licensed EMT-IV, but what I really want to is go into full-time ministry or foreign missions with the man that God is making for me...This is my vision and I am praying about how to pursue it.
I don't think that there is really anything terribly interesting to say about myself, but here are some completely random and hopefully somewhat interesting facts about me...
I never give up.
I always have fun.
I never forget.
I always forgive.
I never regret.
I always try to never impress anyone.
I wanna learn to tap dance.
I love driving.
I plan to highlight my hair.
I am quite often thought to be creepy.
I see best with my fingers.
I play mandolin...a little.
I am easily intrigued and distracted.
Here are two of my favorite quotes:
"You can't know. You can only believe - or not" -CS Lewis
"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come." -God
The Chronicles of Narnia
To Kill a Mockingbird
A Tale of Two Cities
Pride and Prejudice
I'm not sure why they don't have seperate space for movies, but since I am *sure* that you all want to know what my favorite movies are, I will include them here.
Fiddler on the Roof
The Wizard of Oz
The Princess Bride
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Pride and Prejudice
simon and garfunkel
Yeah - random. I like most country and classic rock, and other rock as long as it's not too hard or too light or too folk, and pop...pop rap, pop hip-hop, and pop techno. And other random things here and there. I will listen to almost anything as long as it's not too dirty.
Current theme songs:
Far Away - Nickelback
Never Alone - Barlowgirl
Voice of Truth - Casting Crowns

Sorry it took me so long to reply to you I was really glad to see you at dance, but I am sorry I didn't talk to you like at all I was wraped in a conversation with Elizabeth I guess....
I didn't fix the fence myself, Jonah helped me.
Dreaming? lol! um, I like the ones with dancing in them most I've had some odd ones to be sure haha! Been married several times in dreams, there was one dream about the end of the world (very odd) lol! Dancing dreams are the best
I'm suffering from sunshine withdrawl Its been so rainy Oh, and I had a very frustrating day...two of my sewing machine and mom's both broke down! How aweful!!! So I tried to finish a dress for Anna with Bell's machine...its computerized and I don't fully know how to use it (neither does she ) I did get the zipper in (perfectly) but when I went to zip it I found that it was defective : P I then went for a walk to calm down lol! Tomorrow I've got to take both machines to get fixed and go to guitar lesson, and then come home and hopefully do some firewood. *it never ends* ah well..
I hope you have a great rest of the week! Drop me a line and let me know how life goes k? God Bless!
I'm glad you're doing good and relying on God to teach you things
I didn't go to work this week...but its ok. Yesterday I was learning to rake hay, it went pretty well...except that I took out part of a new fence I had to go back and fix it later, looks good now
Yes I had a blast on Friday too! *loves dancing and hanging out with friends*
I'm glad you liked the Casting Crowns song Its a really good one! It was great to have you girls along, so cool that we got to do that
I hope you have a good week too! I don't have anything special planned for this week. I have a guitar lesson on Thursday... I'll be sewing of course...I'm making Anna a jumper and a dress for the Summertime. Tomorrow is Wednesday, Dad and MJ will be here for church. I'm gonna attempt to make a succesfull apple pie for after church. Last time (was the first time I'd made it) I put too much salt in the dough : P And I'd not tasted it yet...Ethan was over and I let him test it for me. I thought it was just fine...I didn't know till after he left that I'd put too much salt in it lol! Poor guy! hahahaha!
Have you had any goofed up moments in the kitchen? I've had way too many : P
I'm glad I could come too!
Aww, don't worry about it girl. No hard feelings at all Hope everything is ok?
Yeah, that costume took a lot of work and was a huge challenge for me. But I did have fun I'm currently working on swimsuits for Bell and Anna...I don't exactly stop sewing Who knows, maybe we'll get a chance to sew together
Glad school is going well
Yeah I do like that movie, about time to watch it again
Yeah I missed dance on account of I was working late. I was pressure washing some more. I did get faster at it, but still didn't finish untill it was time to be headed towards dance. I was beat and was happy to just go home, get a shower...my sisters made dinner....good sisters I"m not sure if I worked on the dress that night or not??? *is forgetful* : P This costume has been the most extensive, stressful, and complicated project I've ever done....sewing wise anyway. Its those darn pleats that about killed me on the dress itself. There are 16 pleats in the back of the skirt and 34 box pleats in the ruffle that goes around the neckline...that thing alone took up most of my day today! : P But it does look nice...and I suppose it was worth it....mabye. lol! I asked for it with this one...and by george I got it! It was one big challenge, I'll let everyone else judge wether or not I succeeded when they see it I'll post an album in my picasa web albums soon!
So you're really enjoying school....that's cool do you stay on campus?
Ever seen the movie "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers?"
Hey Bethany Thanks for the note! I do believe that I am on schedule to finish the dress by the ball. Tho tonight I've not worked on it much at all...I've been catching up with ppl on here and on FB. I might be at dance tomorrow...just depends on how the day goes. I'm helping dad do some pressure washing tomorrow, he was trying to teach me to be faster at it today...so all I need to do is listen and I'll be done in plenty of time to make it to dance Work has been rather slow lately, for me mostly. So I've been at home, still busy with lots of stuff tho. Seen my blog? I recently posted a few new things in there.
You didn't have spring break? : P awww... Does that mean you don't get summer break?
I've gotta go practice a bit on guitar and get some sleep...maybe see you tomorrow! God Bless!
I've been in my own little world as much as anyone will let me lately...I've been buried in a sewing project. Its taking A LOT! 0-0 I guess I should have expected that when I chose to make something from 1770. : P It will be awesome when finished. Hopefully I can finish it before the Playford Ball *crosses fingers*
So, you're on break now right? I bet you like that! I hope you have a great week off! Have fun with it and catch up on some sleep if possible
