History-I was born in Sao Paulo, Brasil, to missionary parents and in 1989 we left the mission field for the States just a few days before I turned four. I spent my childhood in Fayetteville, Arkansas, but we moved to south-west Missouri to help start a church when I was 12. School was always a struggle for me, but at age 20 I finally got my GED (which marked the end of Highschool in my family) and a scholarship to a community college. I started going to Crowder College in the spring of '06 and I graduated in Spring of '09 with an AA in General Studies. I attended Missouri Southern State University for a semester, but then I got accepted at Berea College in Berea, KY, and I'll be attending there starting Fall of '10.

I think Colorado is pretty awesome. Oh the mountains are gorgeous. Went to Manitou Springs yesterday with some friends - an interesting little town up in the mountains. Got to explore Indian cliff dwellings there and then went to sort of a hippie cafe where enjoyed mate tea and interesting conversation.

Are you getting excited about KY? Are you ready to go?

I'm usually not a fan of women warriors either; they just aren't convincing, but the one in Born of Hope wasn't all that bad.
