Although I often live as though life is about me - my purpose is "to glorify God and enjoy Him forever."
My favorite subjects in high school were biology and history.
I enjoy dancing and often attend vintage, English County Style dances that other homeschoolers put on in our area.
I am an internet marketing consultant and work from home. My brother, Adam, is my business partner. I've been doing internet marketing for about 5 years. For 4 1/2 years I spent my efforts marketing my own websites. Now I am spending most my time consulting and helping other business owners implement online marketing. It can be very hectic, but I enjoy the new challenges that come with each client's business.

Yes, I play flute - but not as often as I should! I started 12 years ago and have never had lessons, although I did have some help from a church worship leader about 8 years ago. I have thought about looking into taking lessons this summer. Do you play an instrument?
The textbook for the computer class works really well in a teach yourself format. In this class we read the book, do the projects, and submit them for the instructor to grade. The book does all the teaching.
Are you a Ron Paul supporter? In the last election I was a Mike Huckabee supporter. I haven't heard any of Ron Paul's speeches, but I saw - and heard - him at the Values Voters Debate. Does your state have a primary or a caucus? In 2008 our state did not want to pay for a presidential primary, so the two major parties each funded caucuses. It was pretty neat, actually. At our local caucus, about 90 people came. Anyone could stand up and speak about their candidate, then we voted, and within a few minutes the results were announced. (Of course, we did not know who the state would go for until all the caucus results were put together.) It was more like the party deciding together who we wanted our delegates to nominate, rather than a regular election where individuals vote in secret.
It is called Advanced Computer Concepts and Applications, and is a continuation of the Introductory class I took last fall. It basically teaches how to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excell, Access, and PowerPoint). I am learning alot! (I sarted with alot to learn )
So you like history and politics? I have been enjoying a book that deals with both subjects: "The 10 Big Lies About America" by Michael Medved. He refutes such myths as "the founders envisioned a secular nation" and "America is an imperialist nation and a threat to world peace". He uses alot of historical examples in his arguments.
I'm already taking some online classes from the community college: math, a computer class, and American Government (which hasn't started yet). Right now I doing alot of math! I plan to transfer to Calvary Bible College's distance learning program next fall. This is my first venture into college, and it has been a few years since high school!

It is to much like football for me to play but I do enjoy watching. Have you ever played ultimate frisbee?
