About Me:

I am NOTHING without GOD -- Period!

I am under construction by God...

Rak Chazak Amats = Be strong and of good courage (from Hebrew) Joshua 1:9

I identify with this quote very well!
"Quiet people have the loudest minds."
~Stephen Hawking

"A proud man is always looking down on things and people; and, of course, as long as you're are looking down, you can't see something that's above you."
- C.S. Lewis

"Lord, in my zeal for the love of truth, let me not forget the truth about love."
 Thomas Aquinas

Very inspiring quote!
"My face is set, my gait is fast, my goal is heaven, my road is narrow, my way rough, my companions few, my guide reliable, my mission clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, deluded or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of the adversary, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander in the maze of mediocrity.
I will not let up, until I have stayed up, stored up, prayed up, paid up, preached up for the cause of Christ. I am a disciple of Jesus. I must go till He comes, give till I drop, preach till all know, and work till He stops me. And when He comes for His own, He will have no problems recognizing me - my banner will be clear. "
- Anonymous African Pastor -- Nailed to his wall

Friends Notes:

Hey! By the way, since this site has basically stalled, (can't contact any admins to get threads approved, etc.) There's a new forum set up recently by some of the community, where HSAers can talk and be active.
I've started several threads on there, so if you get a chance, check it out and consider joining us! Smile

Hello, JoshuaDavid, Thanks for your post. I did well last term. I got anther A in my writing class, but my math class, I am having to retake, but that means that I'll learn it better! Wink What a blessing to have 180 children attend the VBS! What Bible stories did you preach/teach on? Thats so neat that you went on a missions trip? What country did you go to? What special work did you do there? What type of job did you start? When did you start it? Have a blessed day. Smile

Wow, you DO stay up late...12:45 am!!

The name of the painting is "Storm Across the Valley". As far as I know, Tim Cox is an exclusively western/cowboy-way-of-life painter. Becca might really enjoy him! Just Google his paintings under images, they have a lot of them. My second favorite by him is "Cowboy Boogie". It's a cowboy riding his cutting horse, cutting a cow.

Hey good news, I am finally able to edit my profile!! Smile I've been on the road and my only internet access was a smartphone. When I used my home computer I didn't have any issues. I guess my phone was sending information that the computer is not.

I'll certainly keep you in my prayers, Josh. Thank you for yours, as well.

Yeah, it's pretty neat! The only cosmetic work I've (had) done on it, is having the decals removed. They were peeling off & made the whole truck look junky. It came exactly as you see it, otherwise. Yeah, I'm pretty pleased with it! I haven't gotten to drive it much since I bought it, just before snow, last year. I'm hoping to remedy that soon!

I'm looking forward to hearing from you, & I'll try to respond with news & updates, myself! Smile
