First and foremost I am a child of the King! I was saved at a young age and continue to be amazed at the work of God in my life.
I currently live at home and enjoy the time I am able to spend with my family. Since graduating in 1999, I spend my time serving my family and community in whatever ways God provides. I work as a Client Services Rep. for Pioneer Investments. I enjoy cooking, sewing and having fun with my three younger siblings (17, 13, and 6).
My interests are varied and include reading, art, interior design, sewing (especially children's clothing), playing the flute, learning to play the hammered dulcimer, baking, listening to music, shopping, photography, being outside, theology, politics and many other things.
A few of my favorite things: turquoise, meadowlarks, sunshine, the Rocky Mountains, and Husker football.
Some of my favorite authors are:
I am all over the board here!
I enjoy hymns (It is Well With My Soul, Blessed Assurance, and This is My Father's World are some of my favorites).
I like some classical, esp. Beethoven, Bach, and Copeland
Some bluegrass is nice and I love a good fiddle.
Steven Curtis Chapman (my favorite)
Hey, I see you're from Nebraska? Us too! Are you, or folks you know, interested in getting together sometime? Maybe western Nebraska-ish, and trying to grab some Coloradans into the mix?
Since there's not going to be any National Reunion, there's a hole in the calendar for local gatherings to fill... so some of us are casting about for ways to do something like that in our area.
Would you be interested? What sort of things would make it worth while for you, and what time-frame would be best for your schedule?
We're basically just polling the audience to see what would work, and who is even remotely inclined toward participating in something like this.
If you are, please stop by the thread and just leave a post with your answers to the above. This will enable "us planners" to make the best plan that we can!
And if you'd like to join the planner-group, just hop on board! There's lots of room!
Thanks, and hope we'll hear from you!
