Hey - I am currently at Oklahoma State University as Junior in Agriculture Communications. I hardly ever log on to HSA so if you really want to find me, facebook or private message is the best way to reach me. God Bless, Keep Laughin' and remember to WALK ON!
Well I've been on here for while, think it is time for an update so sit back and enjoy.
I am a 21 year old ranch girl, and I love life and because you only get to live once, I strive to make each day full of joy and laughter..cause once it leaves you can't get it back. I am the oldest of 7 children and absolutely love country life! I hope I get to spend the rest of my life on a ranch living the life I cherish so much. Smiling is contagious, and when the smile gets to your eyes you know you are having fun! I'm stubborn, I am loud but I am quite, sweet but with a lot of spice. Laughter is the best medicine around and I can be at times, be brutally honest, so beware! I am one of the worst spellers around, but hey it can make you laugh---
I have a deep southern drawl, so if you ever meet me, just know I say y'all, y'ount, and a lot of other words that to some is called slang, but I wear it with a badge of honor cause its just this the way this Texas Belle pronounces her words. And you know what, I guess for many fellow HSA-ers serves as a conversation starter because they have never heard anyone talk quite like me. I have a large extended family and both of my grandparents are awesome! My grandmothers are queen's and I hope one day I can be half the women they are. Ranching has been a part of both sides of my family for generations and I love cooking for cowboys and talking about good bred horses. Foundation bred Quarter horses are one of the most beautiful sights in the world. To me a beautiful piece of land depends on how many cattle and horses you can run on it. Open and rolling plains are gorgeous and where I live, is a piece of heaven that was dropped in the middle of Texas panhandle.
I have the best parents in the world, and could not ask for more loving and supportive family. I am currently in college pursuing an Agriculture Marketing Degree and have no idea what my future holds, but I do know this!!! God's plan is awesome. and I'm just happy to be alive. What I do know is that I want to spend my life doing something with agriculture and hopefully can make a positive impact on everyone that I am around. (and also get them to go eat beef!) I am a perfectionist when it comes to school and my grades; and I do cause myself a lot of overdue stress, striving always to do my absolute best. I wish that algebra was never invented! Whoever that person was that did that, really needs to have their head examined, and sent to the whaky ward! This semester, Chemistry is eating my lunch, holy smokes! lab is fun though, no explosions so far..
I am so proud to be home educated and one day Lord willing will give my future children the same amazing start in life! I am happily single. Yes you read that correctly I said I am Happily Single and am only in love with one man, and he's pretty cool too, not for sure if I have met him yet or not, but one day I will know, and I'll get to show him my love for, forever! I love being myself and I am always striving to always remain myself no matter what is going on around me, or who I am talking too.
Friends are one of Gods greatest treasures and a true friend does stick closer than a sister! You can never have too many friends, whether they are girls or guys it does not matter.
I love to dance and am a straight country music fan. I listen everyday and it makes me happy. I love this song, and it fits me?
Skip-a-dee - doo-dah
Thank you, Lord, for making the days for me
And thank you for letting life turn out
The way that I always thought it could be
There once was a time
When I could not imagine
How it would feel, to say
I'm the happiest girl
In the whole U.S.A.
Donna Fargo Happiest Girl
I am excited to see what God is going to do in my life, and I am truly content exactly where I am right now, at home with my family, busy pursuing school, striving to keep up with my growing family who has so many activities it leaves me floored. Rodeos play a large role in our life, and if it's the weekend I usually am at one cheering on one of my 5 brothers and sisters who compete in many different events. If somehow I was given the chance to re-live life again I would not change a thing!
Well I decided to end with the lyrics to a George Strait song that makes me smile:
She can drive a truck and rope and ride
She feels right at home right by my side
That's my kind of woman
That's my cup of tea
That's my kind of woman
The girl I want for me
She's got a pair of boots that she just loves
And like me, likes Gus From Lonesome Dove
Chorus:
After all I've seen and all I've done
I know somewhere there is someone
Who'll look my way and say
I want that one
That's my kind of woman
That's me to a "T"
No matter what she wears she turns my head
On rainy days, I can't pry her out of bed
That's my kind of woman
That's my cup of tea
So leave me fn, and don't forget to enjoy the simple things like soup on a cold day, a new born foal in the spring wildflowers, a frapacinno in the afternoon and hugs from a friend, laughter from a child, and a smile from a stranger....
