First of all I think you should know that I want my life to be all about Jesus and not about me. He is the reason I live! My purpose..my everything! I work full time as a DJ for a christian radio station which I absolutely LOVE, I'm so blessed to have a job I actually enjoy! I also lead worship part time, I love worshipping God and leading other's in worshipping God too! I also sing and play guitar & bass in a band called sweet the sound( give us a listen at myspace.com/sweetthesound )I was homeschooled from the 2nd half of 1st grade all the way through 12th grade. My family moved 12 times when I was growing up and 10 of those were when I was between the ages of 11 and 21. We lived in Georgia, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas & Florida.(and no, my dad wasn't in the army, my parents just have gypsy blood I guess)Ironically enough, we ended back up where we started out, in Georgia. When I was a teenager I read the book "I kissed dating goodbye" by Joshua Harris and made a vow not to date at all through my teenage years and to wait till I felt like I was ready to get married to start dating. I've finally reached that stage that I feel like I'm ready as soon as God sends the right guy that He's chosen for me. I've never kissed a guy or had a boyfriend, I'm saving myself 100% for my husband!
I'm extremely laid back & easily amused, I get along with just about everyone, I'm very random and I love to laugh. Music is my passion(I dabble on the acoustic, electric & bass guitar, piano, irish penny whistle, djembe, bongos, and congas although I'm not incredibly good on any) and I also love to read and watch movies. I'm addicted to facebook (www.facebook/amycamp) and I just recently got into photography this year. I wish I'd gotten into it long ago because I absolutely LOVE it now.
Favorite Books:
The bible of course and I kissed dating goodbye and boy meets girl, Piercing the Darkness/This present darkness, The Shack, The Ishbane Conspiracy. I grew up reading the Anne of Green Gables, Little house on the prarie, Little Women, & Narnia series. I love any book by C.S.Lewis, Frank Peretti, J.K. Rowling, Janette Oak & Jane Austen.
Favorite movies; It's a wonderful life, Little Women, You can't take it with you, Sleepless in Seattle, You've got mail, While you were sleeping, Monters Inc, Finding Nemo, Emma, Pride & Predjudice, Sense & Sensibility, Pirates of the Carabbean, That thing you do, Music & Lyrics, Napoleon Dynamite

Favorite Music:
I love ALL types of music really, depending on my mood...I'll listen to rock, classical, british pop, celtic music, R&B, pop, rap, blue grass, country, tecno, opera, alternative...the only music I'm not too fond of is heavy metel or anything with lyrics that disturb me. I think there's a bit of good musicians in every genre and a bit of bad, as well. Some of my favorites are Coldplay, Kari Jobe, Kim Walker, Phil Wickham, Aqualung, Eisley, Iron & Wine, Travis, Keane, Jars of Clay, Snow patrol, Damien Rice, Plumb, Nick Drake, Yael Naim, Ingred Michaelson, Steven Delopoulous, Frou Frou, The Cranberries, Sarah Mclachlan, Jimmy eat world, Enya, the like, Norah Jones, Jack Johnson, five o'clock people, Gorillaz, Gritz, Newboys, Bethany Dillon, Shane & Shane, Brandon Heath

Hey you! We missed you at the GA get-together! We got a little wet, but it was still a lot of fun.
How've you been these days? Hope all is well and you've been staying dry with all this rain!

It'd be great if you could make it to the GA reunion, even if it is only for a day. Hope to see you there.

SDG stands for Soli Deo Gloria which is roughly translated from Latin to To God be the Glory Alone. I sign everything I write with that to glorify my maker always.

I was able to be a guest DJ on a christian station's Saturday AM children's show when I lived in Florida as a child. It was a lot of fun, but I was SOOO nervous. I also sounded a lot like the DJ, so when I answered phones people would think I was her, which was funny.
Good memories!
If you are ever in the Chattanooga area let me know, I'd love to meet some fellow HSA'ers.
