I am 18 years old, I have three younger brothers ( two of which are adopted from Russia) and two younger sisters. I have wonderful parents in my unbiased opinion. I grew up in Minnesota but I’m currently living in Virginia. I moved here fall of 2005 for an apprenticeship with Joel Salatin of Polyface farms. After finishing my one year apprenticeship I decided to stay here one more year because I felt that there was more I could learn. I love working outside every day with the animals (500 cows and 4000 chickens keep you busy) I plan a starting my own farm in the very near future.
I also enjoy riding my bike, hunting, playing racquetball, basketball, ultimate Frisbee and just about any board/card game, especially rats.
I love good high quality food, I love growing it, I love eating it, I love cooking it. (is there anything else that you can do with food.? smelling it?)
I love music. I love playing and listening to music(I play the guitar and piano and would also like to learn the violin, drums and trumpet if I can ever find the time.)
I also love a good book. There is never enough time to read.
I like going barefoot as much as I can.
I enjoy hanging out with my friends, playing games, talking until all hours fixing the worlds problems( I wonder why I like being on HSA)
I do some blogging on http://www.scepaniakfarms.com/blog/ along with my dad and two other guys. We try to promote Biblical/Authentic agriculture.

Hello, and welcome to HSA! Since you did have an account before, I don't know how new you really are, but I thought I'd welcome you anyway!
