Once upon a time I was here a good bit. I met wonderful friends whom I'm still connected with and some of which I see regularly :-) Then along came facebook, and my husband, and my children, and my sewing... okay, there was always my sewing lol!
I noticed that all of my photos couldn't be viewed anymore.. so I've deleted them and will add some new.

I rarely read these days. I used to when I was single. But now being a wife and mother, and putting so much into my sewing, books just don't seem to happen... unless its a book on pattern designing.
Stuff that speaks of how great God is! Love my contemporary Christian music <3
Sorry it took me so long to reply! We just got back from Indy, Saturday night. I didn't have a car, so I pretty much just stayed in the hotel, fortunately I'd brought a few books I'd been wanting to read!
I would never have done my own wedding cake without a bunch of help lined up. I didn't have to actually do anything the day of the wedding, which was perfect.
I've gone through 3 cars since I got my license, currently I'm driving my husband's old car, but we're looking for something new for me, since his doesn't have much time left on it, and we really don't trust it for long trips or anything....
It. was. amazing!!! Had a great time hanging out with friends..playing games, skiing, snowmobiling, playing instruments, etc... Loved every minute. Now we want them to come down and visit this spring-ish so we can play all our warm weather games. haha (ultimate frisbee (with Dave's Flash Flight!! ) flash light tag...stuff like that
I understand! (That sounds like fun! My husband and I are going to be in Indiana for a week in March for work, not as much fun, lol, but what can you do? )
Awesome! I wish I could swing dance! I've been taught a few times, but I never get a chance to practice.
I met my husband at church, more specifically during Sunday School, but we got to know each other through playing Ultimate Frisbee, and on Saturday mornings once a month, he was the church Sound Guy, and I was one of the piano players....)
Aren't wedding cakes stressful? I did one for a friend's wedding, and then with the help of my mother-in-law, and sister-in-law I did my own wedding cake.
Do you enjoy sewing for weddings? Obviously, it depends on the bride, but in my experience, doing anything wedding-related (I've also done piano for a couple of weddings) is pretty high-stress!
It will be nice if you can stay in TN... My husband had the chance of being transferred anywhere in the country with his job (he's an Electrical and Mechanical Engineer and the company he works for, has branches everywhere) but thankfully, he was transferred to the office just two hours north of where both of our families live.
How did you meet your husband?
I've done ECD dancing at the two HSA reunions I attended, but other than dancing at weddings or home just for fun () I haven't done any "real" dancing since I was little. But I do enjoy it, I'd especially like to learn how to Swing dance.
Wow! Sewing for 3 weddings! That must keep you so busy! Are you doing just the bridesmaids' dresses or the bride's as well?
Have you done any wedding cakes before?
Now you're inspiring me to get better at e.mailing my friends. Blogging is a toss-up...how public do you really want to be and how much does everyone really need to know. I try to think if it's worthwhile and could help someone else maybe, then perhaps it's worth it. But, there are still things I don't ever blog about because I don't want everyone to know about some things, y'know??
