Life: Hidden in Christ! "It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20
Love: In a relationship with Brock Wilkie as of July 2010. For lack of space, suffice it to say he is an incredibly awesome guy and one of the greatest blessings the Lord has given me! :)
Work: Teaching piano, harp and voice. Performing. Selling my CDs. Yes, that IS a real job folks. :-P
Upcoming Work: In 2011, I will be harpist, pianist, and back-up vocalist for Irish Tenor Ciaran Sheehan's band, based out of New Jersey and bound for world tour!
Likes: Reading, horses (have three), travel (been to 6 countries), cooking (especially experimenting), mountains, beer (the good kind), tea (again, the good kind), history, country living, adventure...
Dislikes: Politicians, beets, being late, poorly written books.
Oddities: I enjoy dressing up and being pretty just as much as I enjoy going outside and getting dirty.
Described as: Effervescent, radical, "no bigger than a minute".
Dreams: Marry for love, home school my kids, run a Dexter cattle business, read almost all the good books that are out there before I die. ;)
Goal: Live Soli Deo Gloria! "Teach me your way, O Lord,
that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name. I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever." Psalm 86:11-12

Thanks! Yes, I think we must be kindred spirits. I like your list:
"I love the smell of rain, wild roses, leather, and hay...the sound of wind, katydids, old wooden floors, and children's laughter...the feel of warm soil, old books, china teacups, and flower petals."
Lovely! I don't live in the country at present, but I would absolutely love to someday again. I think your "Cinderella life" sounds quite wonderful, hehe!
By the way, I think you're right - succession is a valid option. I'm not sure it will ever happen, but if Texas does succeed, might your family come join us? Or do you think it might be just the push North Carolina would need to do so also?

It's funny I should find you on here... a friend of mine recently introduced me to your music. She told me your name and that I should look you up online. So I watched some clips on youtube (you're very talented) and wrote her back saying that I enjoyed listening to you. Today I got a letter in the mail from her, and one of the things she said was that she loved your music! Unfortunately, her family doesn't have a computer, so she's not on HSA, but if she was, she'd probably flip out over meeting you!
