About Me:

About Ben? I'm a singer/songwriter, and right now I'm in the process of getting my music out there. So far, I play piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and some bass. I'd have to say that acoustic guitar is my main instrument (note the picture), but I'm really exploring the electric guitar. Beyond music, I enjoy drawing, reading, writing, and fencing (to name a few hobbies).

If you'd like to hear some of my music, please check out

Lastly, but most importantly, I am a Christian. Granted, I'm very human, but at the end of the day God is my everything.

Thanks for taking the time to read this! Leave a comment and I'll swing by your profile ASAP (I'm a busy guy, but I try to get on HSA for a few minutes everyday).

He sounds like quite an interesting guy.

I've never seen a berimbau in real life before, much less tried to play one. I can play a marimba though! Razz

Hi Ben. What most do you like about playing in small restuarants? To me, that seems like a brave thing to do - you're putting yourself out there with no defences. How long have you been playing in front of audiences?

I listened to some of your music on youtube. It's pretty cool. It reminds me of some other artists, but with a touch that's yours. Do you write your own songs? Do you sing often at fairs and get togethers?

Hi Ben. You commented on my Cain's Lament blog post - thanks, by the way. It' good to hear feedback on writing.
It's interesting to see your music likes. It seems to reflect your interest in guitar music. I like Rich Mullins, too. And Jack Johnson. Both of their lyrics catch my attention. It's the kind of music you have to be paying attention to - not just casually listening to.
Hope to 'meet' you some more.
