A righteous man who walks in his integrity - How blessed are his sons after him. -- Proverbs 20:7 (NASB)
I am first off a Christian with my citizenship in Heaven, and blessed that my citizenship in this short life is as a native-born American!
I live in Cookeville, Tennessee which is on Interstate 40 smack in between Nashville and Knoxville. I was born in Berks County, Pennsylvania in the city of Reading, about 55 miles NW of Philadelphia and an hour east of Hershey. My family decided to move in 1995 to Tennessee when I was 9 because they found it to be a better place to raise a family, and I believe they were right.
I was homeschooled from 3rd-12th grades, and I was involved in several activities through that time, including Bible Bowl, 4-H, geography bees, the Putnam County Fair and classes at the Nashville School of Preaching. I focused on education throughout my pre-college days, but I have become even more active in the times since.
I graduated from Tennessee Tech University in December 2010 with a degree in Political Science and minors in Business and Speech Communication. I participated in numerous activities and worked a few jobs while in college.
Among the highlights:
-Elected in January 2009 as vice chairman of the Putnam County Republican Party and served a two-year term. Also chosen as chairman of the organization's candiate recruitment committee in the 2010 election cycle. Elected in March 2011 as vice secretary of the same organization.
-Served three terms as president of the Tennessee Tech College Republicans.
-Two-term treasurer of the Tech Pro-Life Collegians.
-Ran for Putnam County School Board in the 2010 elections at the age of 23, and although I never attended public schools, much less in the county, I still only fell short by 33 votes out of nearly 1,100 cast.
-Served on the county committee to elect then-Congressman Zach Wamp as Tennessee governor.
-Active in the UCSC and SOC campus ministries.
-Announcer for the Tech baseball, volleyball and soccer teams.
-Played ultimate frisbee five years, basketball three years and arena football and softball each for a year in intermural play.
Now, I work in the office at the Cookeville Sears store and about to engage in work as an insurance agent and as an intern for the youth ministry at the church which I attend.
I believe I am on the right track God has planned for me in life. My goals in the long term are to get established in business life (already well on my way there), settle down with the woman God has planned for me and raise a family, remain active in church life and involvement, and continue to defend the conservative principles God has established for us.

I just joined this site, and wanted to say hi! That's great that you're politically active... we need more and more people to become aware of what's happening in our country right now. I went to the 9/12 march on Washington, and it was incredible! So many people there!!
