I am first and foremost a follower of Jesus Christ. I can not imagine life without my Lord and Savior!
I am 21 years old and the oldest of 10 siblings. I thank the Lord for, and enjoy our large family! The Lord has blessed our family through adoption. Four of my youngest siblings were adopted from Asia.
I live in the outskirts of the San Francisco bay area of California on a 5 acre hobby farm. We have a horse, a milk cow, llamas, dogs and chickens.
I was homeschooled since 2nd grade. I am very grateful to my parents for choosing to educate me at home, even though it was definitely not the easiest option!
If the Lord chooses to bless me with a family someday, I definitely hope to homeschool my children.
I am very interested in missions work. I spent June and July of this summer in the bush of Alaska working as a counselor at a summer camp for native Alaskan children. I was also blessed to be able to spend several weeks in small Alaskan villages doing evangelism work and teaching VBS.
Some of my other interests include cooking and baking. I do most of the cooking for my family and love it! I also enjoy cake decorating. I love looking through design books and getting new ideas for future cake projects. I also love to read, although I don't have as much time for it as I used to.
I have played classical piano for 8 years and hope to start teaching this year.
I love babies and children and work as a mothers helper for Moms I know that need extra help.
When I'm in the mood to do something thrilling I enjoy skiing, rockclimbing and rappelling , Horseback riding, riding roller coasters and investing in the stock market :-)
I love meeting people, so feel free to drop me a note or PM me.

I am home safe and sound, and I miss you all already. Let my know about the teen week if you get the chance.

Hey Kristen... How's everything in Alaska? I've been reading the updates from John. How big is your group? or is it something that is managed like that by staff? hmm... maybe I don't make sense. Hope it has been a good time so far!

Not running much, but I am still doing stuff. I am skating when I can, which can be a lot of work.
You did some at Lone Hill Church BBQ, right?

Yep, I am past a quarter of a century now.
I just started skating a little bit, and am working on different muscles for that! I slightly strained something on my last run, so I will just skate for a couple days before I go back at it. What are you people doing Sept. 16-19? I am thinking of going to the HSA event in Indiana at that time. (union city, IN)
