I was born and raised in Idaho, have an awesome family, and a pretty cool life all around. :) I love to ski, play soccer, play ultimate frisbee and am always competing hard to improve at those three.
I love finding new music to listen to- I'm pretty much a music addicted fiend. :P If you want to comment on my list or talk about your favorites, leave me a message!
I graduated from Thomas Edison State College with a BA in Communications in March of 2012.
I love android phones, and hatin' on pretty much anything else. ;)
I like making people laugh.
I love dancing and can throw it down pretty decent on the swing dance floor. :)
I love reading books, both fiction and non, and discussing ideas with people. However, I don't like arguing or debating very much. :P

Haha! Yeah, we call them raccoon eyes. I know, if you live in an area with lots of skiers, everyone is walking around with a nice goggle tan.
Oh, nice! I don't play indoor soccer much, but when I do, I have too much fun. I still think I like outdoor soccer better, though.
Ah, I know. Getting sick can be pretty inconvenient. I never get sick in the summer. I think it's cause I'm outside runnin' around in the sunshine, but once in a while in the winter I do.
I've got so many great summertime memories! We've had quite a bit of sun recently. Today I was mowing our lawns in shorts and tee shirt, and I actually got HOT! Like that summertime kind of hot.
By the way, have you by chance ever worked with someone by the name of Ben Bauer?
Oh, just for the record, what's your last name? Just so you know, my last name is Bruggeman.
Ya! I can't wait t to start Mt. biking. When I'm in my classes in town, and there is no one to pick me up, I always wanna just start walking home. I think it would be fun. It's a long way, though, and my dad is like, "No, you can't just walk home!" Anyway, so I'm thinking he's gonna get me a bike. I'm so excited. I can't wait!! Not that we don't have bikes, there just not exactly road worthy.
Yeah, I love playing soccer in half field. Everyone is so much closer, so it's a lot more technical. I can really get in a rhythm.
Hope you're having a great week!

AHH! I feel roasted and toasted! It was so bright and sunny on the mountain today. You see, I managed to go all season without getting a goggle tan. But now, I have a goggle tan!!
Yeah, we have part of our garden planted and still I am skiing, and will be for 2 more weeks if I go up. I am ashamed to say that I am jealous, cause soccer sounds so fun right now!
I seem to have trouble finding spring soccer leagues. I always play in the fall.
Aww, sorry you weren't feeling well this week. (nice excuse to wear shorts, though)
Ah...summer evenings, frisbee, swimming, driving with the widows rolled down, moonlight walks, talking with good friends.....I love your taste.
It's so neat that you're an electrician, too. My dad started at like sixteen, I think. Have you ever heard of Morse Electric? It is the electrical business of some really good friends of ours. They live in Coeur D' Alene area.
Now I know what you mean. I have seen allot of videos of that kind of mountain biking.
Yeah, my family wants to get mountain bikes this summer, so we can go ride around Mt. Hood. (I don't mean around as in around it, I mean around as in on it)
What am I doin' this weekend? Well, I went skiing today, and some friends came over for dinner. I honestly don't know what I'll be doing tomorrow, but later I'll tell you what I did. How about you? Any plans for the weekend?
I may have already asked you this, but where have you traveled, and where do you want to travel?

Yeah, I'm with ya. Small fast groups are the ideal, especially on powder/tree days.
Ah, I know!! Trying to keep a big group that doesn't know the mountain from getting lost, is exasperating! It takes me forever to learn my lesson, though. Every time I promise myself I'll never do it again, and every time I get volunteered to be "miss ski instructor/guide." But, tomorrow, I'm going up to take some fast fun runs and to watch the pond skimming contest. I think it might be the last day for me. We'll see. By the by, you're right. You should come to Hood.
Yeah, we have a pair of Blizzards with the reverse camber that we got this year. They're amazing on jumps, and they're pretty good in the powder, but I don't think I'd want them for an all around go-get-it ski.
Hehe....I know, I can't wait for the WARM sunshine to get here! It was sunny today, and I tried to wear shorts, but it really wasn't that warm. Yeah, sunshine gets me just as fired up as snow does. (good thing God gave us both)
Yeah, farm work is good, most of the time. When it's not....we go swimming, and when we're working really late into the night, I just look up at the full moon and....well, full moons on a warm summer night are really beautiful.
You do construction? cool. My dad is an Electrical Contractor, so I've helped him a little with some wiring and other construction stuff.
Oh, you have rivers near you? Fun!
We have a river below our house, and we live near the punch bowl. I don't know if you've ever heard of the punch bowl, but It's a pretty well-known cliff jumping spot.
No, I've never done singe-track mountain biking. It sounds pretty fun, though. What exactly does it entail?

Yeah, I agree. I like skiing with another person. Some people like it, though, or, I should say, don't mind it.
Ah, that is a long ride to take with no conversation to pass the time. Haha...yeah, it's a kinda lonely feeling when I've gone through a playlist on my ipod for the second time.
yep, I know about those days when you're waiting around ten minutes for every ten feet you ski. (well, maybe that is a little exaggerated, but you get the idea)
It is so fun when you have a really fun group that's....well, congenial to each others skiing style.
Yeah, I didn't really have any icy days this year either. I did have one day that just poured, though. I went up this morning and it was just blower powder. It was really good. It didn't feel like spring skiing.
Yes! we should! I love to try out some new stuff. The Shamans are pretty killer. My sister and I are always fighting over who gets to ski them, so I'm thinking we need to get another pair for next year.
Cool, yeah, I've heard Schweitzer has pretty nice tree skiing.
I know, I love sunshine!! It was sunny last weak. I was totally soaking it up.
As for me and summer, we do allot together. I generally end up doing quite a bit of farm work since we sorta live on a farm, and my cousins live on a huge farm about thirty minutes from us. Between the two, I'm kept pretty busy. I'm planning on doing school all summer.
Anyway, besides all that stuff, I'll probably be swimming, horseback riding, biking, hiking, going to summer get-togethers...all that fun stuff.

Haha! Yeah, I think that's the way it happens allot of times. It is cool that he got you into it, though.
I know what you mean. Sometimes I feel the same way, even though I have a family to go with. It is really refreshing to ski somewhere you've never skied before. Skiing is pretty fun by itself, but when you have fun people to go with, It just gets better. I've noticed that I need to keep having new experiences in my skiing, otherwise I start thinking about all the things I need to be doing. One thing that makes skiing such a powerful sport is that it's all about living in the moment.
Fun! I can't wait to come to Schweitzer! You make sure and come down to Mt. Hood, too.
The Shamans are AMAZING! They're like a major, wonderful, powder ski, that is still really technical, so it has the same aggressive, strong feel that a race ski has.
Uh, yup, I've tried taking the wrong kind of skis in the trees before, and it wasn't so smooth. I like going through really tight places, so when I have the wrong skis in the trees, it just isn't so fun.
What is the weather like up there? It was sunny down here for awhile, but now it's back to rain again, except on the mountain. Any fun plans for the summer?

haha...one of the benefits of having a dad who loves skiing.
Yeah, traveling and skiing combined can be kinda expensive, which is one of the reasons I stopped racing. We still travel/ski allot, but not as much as we would if I still raced.
Yeah, you would probably love Hood! I would be happy to show you around anytime. It's nice meeting new people to go rip it up with. We'll hopefully make it down to Schweitzer next winter. It would be awesome to ski all the
amazing stashes with someone who knows them so well.
I-LOVE-POWDER! But powder AND trees?! It doesn't get any better! It's so fun to pop off the trees that have big poofs of powder on them!
Hood has a pretty big variety. There is some extreme stuff if you know where to find it.
Other than my Volkl race skis, I am currently skiing on a pair of 2011 Icelantic Shamans. They're definitely my favorites. My sisters and I share skis back and forth, so we get to ski a different stuff.
What terrain/conditions are the Cryptonites best in?

Yes! You should!
Hood is amazing! You'd like it.
Hood River is pretty cool, too.
Bachelor is pretty good. It's about 3 hours south of Hood. We've go down there frequently for both races and just fun free skiing. I'd have to say I like Hood better, though.
Another good Mountain is Crystal Mountain. It's in Washington. Have you ever been to Whistler?
Yeah, I'm looking forward to LOTS of soccer this summer!!
Come visit us when you come see your Grandma, and we'll show you the best stashes on Hood. Do you like powder skiing?

Nice, Idaho is awesome. I was up there several times this winter for skiing/social reasons. We have really good friends who live in the St. Maries area.
Their backyard is Mt. Baldy, literally, so they took us up there on their snowmobiles. We had some AMAZING runs. It blows pretty hard up there, so there were some fun cornices to jump off of.
Schweitzer is pretty cool. I been there a couple of times. It's closing already? Ah, sorry.
Mt. Hood keeps getting dumped on.
Yeah, I mostly ski for fun now. I don't race anymore. I'm thinking about doing some coaching for one of the race teams, though.
Ah, yes, soccer is fun!!! (and side cramping, but mostly fun)
Do you ever come down to Oregon?
