I live in Texas. I am the second oldest of 6 kids. I was homeschooled until '08 when I graduated. I work for my dad moslty. I enjoy making things with metal, playing music, going to reenactments, Hunting, and spending time with friends.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdon; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. - Colossians 3:14

WORK:
I work for my dad who owns a well reapair service. We mostly repair old windmills that supply the livestock around our area with water. We also fix/replace house electric pumps and install/repair solar pumps. Its interesting work and I like doing it. I really like climbing the windmill towers ;)

METAL:
I like to make chainmaille. Originally it was designed as armor during the Medieval ages. Nowadays some people (like me) make Jewelry as well as armor. If you want to know more about how to make it read my HSA blog. I sell the Jewelry that I make to pay for the supplies, so if all goes well I usually get to make my chainmaille at no expense to me. I also have become interested in Blacksmithing, I have just gotton started with that and am not very good yet....

MUSIC:
Okay, I have been playing the Fiddle for over twelve years now and feel that I at least know something about it. I took piano for a while, but haven't pursued it like the fddle. I am also working on Guitar and Madolin as well though, Im not that great yet... If you play music, I'd love to hear from you:) I usually like to play fast songs and with other people that also like music as much as I do. Jamming is probably my favoraite way to play. I like to play Western Swing, Bluegrass, and "Contest Fiddle" and its what I know the most of.

REENACTING:
My family does States' War (civil war) reenacing and are joined up with the 7th TX Cav. In the battles we go dismounted (on foot) and do most of the shooting for the South:) Our group is probably known for always being ready for a fight, great dancing abilities and making jokes about everything in sight. We are absolutly the most deadly force of troops there has ever been in Texas since the Alamo. JK :) actually we just try to do our part and try not to get too much attention or get into any parades if at all possible. As far as the rest is concerned, I like the camping, the eating, and of course; the dancing.

AIRSOFT:
I and my brothers are co-founders of an airsoft group located in the Texas Panhandle. We belive in full auto weapons and teamwork to overcome the enemy. We identify ourselves by wearing a :) on the left shoulder of our battle jackets. We also wear WWII helmets and Vietnam style cammo. If you live in our area give me a shout and we'll see if we can get you in our group.

If you have any questions, comments, advice, wisdom, stratigies, quotes, jokes, useful info, or brainey ideas, feel free to share! :)

Friends Notes:

Oh well we made a small snowman and doing that was COLD! No I don't really like it in the snow, especially NOT snowball fights, talk about a cold shower :z! By the way every November in Jacksboro, TX (I know its a ways off) they have a Civil War dance and I am letting all my Texas friends know that I plan to be there in 2013. We can all meet there and enjoy a dance (instead of host one). Smile
Anyway I do agree, I picked up a tool in the snow (that was left out) and it was soo cold!

No it never reached a foot, but we got about 2 inches that still partly blankets the ground!
And what do you mean it seems? I've never seen one in my life! And that's a long time. We did have a tiny dusting one year, but nothing like this year (that is on Christmas)!
Do you like snow? Smile

Hey I just wanted to share with you that I prayed for a foot of snow and its still snowing here! God is SOOO good and how smart he is too, the rain and sleet all morning (and night) got the ground hard and cold enough to keep it for the White Christmas I asked for!!!!!!!!

Our farm is commercial(it feels weird to say that, since it's just a family thing!) We have a big garden though, and what will be an orchard in about 5 years. Smile
