I write. It's what I do, who I am. I graduated from Patrick Henry College in May of 2007, and now I am working for the College full-time in the Communications department. I write articles, proofread, hunt people down for information, and generally make it my business to find out whatever is happening.
It is different to not be a student any more at my beloved college. I feel that I really began to live here, and now life is moving on. What comes next? God knows.
In this stage of life, I am learning about moviemaking, and I am relearning how to live.

Nice post in World Changing in Roundtable. You echoed a lot of of my thoughts over the last year or two (Place me 1-3 years behind you in the "journey" of going from possesed to driven and you would have me pegged ). The part about "living in the future and not the present" is word for word what I am often telling myself (Gave myself a little life saying: "Remember the past, but don't live there. LIVE today, with your eye to the future". Just reminds me not to live in my memories or in my dreams but do be conscious of both while living here and now . Well, gotta run but wanted to drop a note saying I liked your post. ttyl

I know a few people who are transitioning from Distance Learning to On Campus. My friend Kaitlyn (forget how to spell her last name, but it starts with a "C") is one of them. Kyle Wick and Ben Sayre from DL are also going on campus this fall. The people I've met who are there right now are mostly people who led campaigning in Virginia last fall or counseled at camp last year, but I've not kept up touch with them.....
