The Homeschool ALUMNI Talent Show is back by popular demand! And this year we're giving away one (1) $500 grand prize to the winner, as well as two (2) $100 prizes to the next two runner-ups! Don't miss this opportunity to showcase your talent, entertain your fellow homeschool graduates, and have a chance to win some moo-la-la at the same time!

We're currently accepting applications for your act at the Homeschool ALUMNI National Reunion Talent Show through May 30th, 2011!

Applications will be reviewed and 5-10 acts will be chosen to perform in the Homeschool ALUMNI talent show.

The talent we’re looking to feature should be:

-Entertaining.

-Family friendly.

-Of short duration - no longer than 5 minutes.

Feel free to be creative and do something off the wall! There is a good chance we'll get more applications than what there’s time for, so the more unique and interesting your idea sounds, the more likely it is you will be chosen.

Space is limited! Submit your application to be a part of the Homeschool ALUMNI Talent Show as soon as possible to help insure your place on the main stage! If your act has been chosen you will be notified no later than June 1, 2011.

Talent Show FAQ's:

Do I need to be registered for the Reunion in order to participate in the talent show?

Yes. You must be registered for the 2011 Homeschool ALUMNI National Reunion in order to participate in the talent show.

Do I need to be a homeschool graduate to particpate in the talent show?

Yes. The Homeschool ALUMNI National Reunion Talent Show is open to homeschool graduates who have been homeschooled for at least a year or more, and who will be at least 16 years of age on or before the time of the Reunion (June 30th, 2011). How will the talent show be judged?

The talent show will be audience judged. All audience members will receive their own individual key pad with which to privately vote on their favorite acts.

What kinds of talent are you looking for?

We are looking for all kinds of family-friendly talent - musicians, comedians, dancers, storytellers, impersonators, actors, jugglers, unicyclists ... you name it!

Can I perform with siblings and/or friends as a group?

Yes! Absolutely. Some of the best acts are a collaboration between friends and family!

How will I find out if my act has been chosen or not?

We will notify you no later than June 1, 2011.
