I posted this on the general forum, but I thought I'd post it here as well...

Thanks to all who helped me last spring find a bread machine. I'm loving my Zojirushi, and would recommend it to anyone how is looking for a good quality, durable, dependable machine that makes delectable bread.
Okay, now I'm doing research on good noodle/pasta makers. I've heard the KitchenAid mixer has a nice attachment, but alas, I don't have a KitchenAid (though I'd love to get one someday).
Have any other suggestions for me? I'd love any help you could offer. Thanks!

I saw the title, and thought Oh, I have a suggestion, then I read the post. I was going to suggest the Kitchen Aid, as I knew someone when I was a kid who made pasta with the Kitchen Aid attachment. Sorry I'm no help. My mom has a Bosch as well, but we never tried to make pasta. I have a Kitchen Aid, but I don't have the pasta attachment.
I have a Zojirushi rice cooker, and love it! If I'm ever interested in a bread machine, I'll have to look into the Zojirushi.

Hmm...Maybe I'll just have to wait to get a KitchenAid--whenever I get married (Lord willing), and buy the noodle attachment. I'd prefer a KitchenAid over a Bosch mixer anyway, so that would work out nicely. In the mean time, I guess I'll just have to stick with store-bought noodles. Hoohum!
Add on: Oh, you'd love the Zojirushi bread machine! The bread tastes the most like "regular" bread that I've ever tasted from a bread machine. Yum! Yum! I'm really enjoying it!

My mom uses a Cuisinart to make the dough and then uses some special equipment (don't remember the name/brand) to crank out the noodles. You could probably find something online.

So, I just come upstairs disappointed over my first attempt (failed) at ravioli. I get on HSA to cheer me up... and there's this thread.
I found several hand cranked ones on ebay. I hope to get one too.

Aw I'm sorry your ravioli didn't turn out! What did you use to attempt the ravioli?
I have never tried it, but I watched Giada De Laurentiis do it on FoodNetwork with a ravioli press/cutter and she made it look so easy (but of course it never is as easy as she makes it look!). I've been wanting a ravioli cutter ever since but haven't gotten one yet. They're fairly inexpensive - I've seen them for about $10 - but I wonder if the cheaper ones don't cut as well.
