I live with my father, mother, and three siblings on 23 acres of mostly woods in Big Sandy, TN that my father purchased to turn into a workable farm. We are fans on Joel Salatin, and want to grow everything organically.
We moved here seven months ago and have been working feverishly building out-buildings and a cottage, and clearing land so it can be fenced in for goats. We own ten laying hens and a rooster and plan on getting more along with broilers, turkeys and guineas in the near future.
I want to farm full-time and plan on working my way up from my father's farm until I can sustain myself with a decent income.
I have a passion for things natural, organic, old-world, simple, and as GOD centered as possible. I look forward to finding and learning from
like-minded people on this forum.

Regards,
Connor James Dahl

Congratulations on building your own cabin, and outbuildings! That must so hard and yet so rewarding! I do know who Joel Salatin is..in fact I've seen a video about his farm. Pretty cool.
Hope this venture goes well for you and your family! Smile Good luck!
