My name is Rebecca and my business is A Spacious Place. The most popular question I hear is, "you do what?!"
I help people look at a situation at home or in the office with a fresh pair of eyes. We begin to uncover their goals and what is bothering them about the disorganization and clutter. By getting my client to reveal the root issue we figure out what papers or belongings are relevent to their work or recreation and then organize the keeps in a way that fits my client's needs and preferences.
People ask me if I like what I do, and I always tell them that I find sorting and arranging very therapeautic (space more so...I have a love/hate relationship with paper and filing systems;)) Organizing is a skill and talent that I love to share with other individuals. My primary goal is to pass on organizing principles to my clients and also leave them with a space that they enjoy working and living in.
I belong to the National Association of Professional Organizers and NAPO-New England. They offer me a lot of supprt and continuing accountability and education to become a better organizer. Check out my website www.thespaciousplace.com if you would like to know more about my business.
I'll post pics of some of my projects on my profile after this busy season is over. I look forward to learning about your businesses and discussing some of the challenges and victories us young business owners have!
He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me.
