I just thought that some of you all might be interested in this. Does anyone have any experience with MI or mob grazing?

Hi all,
I just wanted to let you know about a series of meetings I will be talking at. I am not going to send this out to the ug-mo-nrcs list but I did want to make sure and get the word out to folks that have an interest in this topic. High Density or Mob grazing is a very hot topic right now. Please pass it on to anybody else you think would like to attend. Let me know if you have any questions.
Doug Peterson
Herd Quitter Meetings –
We are getting ready for Round Two of our Herd Quitter meetings in northeast Oklahoma and Missouri. This set of meetings will feature Doug Peterson – who will be discussing Soil Building through Mob Grazing. Unbeknownst to many (perhaps most) beef producers, long-term profitability and sustainability begins with the soil.
Doug is scheduled to speak at four different Herd Quitter meetings. All of these meetings will start promptly at 7:00 pm and continue until 9:00 pm. They are all FREE and open to the public. Feel free to invite your friends and neighbors.
NO NEED TO RSVP… Just show up with an open mind. We invite you to join Doug and other Herd Quitters for some lively, outside-the-box discussions.

"Unbeknownst to many (perhaps most) beef producers, long-term profitability and sustainability begins with the soil. "
I would hope that would be obvious. The hay and pasture ground needs maintained, same as the row crop ground does. If the grass/hay isn't good enough, the cattle won't produce milk/gain weight like they should.
The harder the ground is pushed, the more important it becomes.
