How many of these programs do you use? What is your favorite?

I've only used Matlab so far, but I'm learning Maple.

I have used Matlab quite a bit, but I checked Maple too, because I have the symbolic math toolbox for Matlab, and I believe it is based on Maple.

I've used "pure" Maple a bit in the past. I'll have to use MiniTab (a stats program) for one of my spring classes. I also have to learn Excel for my current actuary class (and for my future as an actuary). Today, I'm totally a Matlab girl, though. Very Happy

I've used both Matlab and Maple, mostly Matlab nowadays. Matlab seems to be more comprehensive, but Maple seems to be a lot more user friendly, almost on the level of the Mac graphing calculator. Wink

I've used both also...mostly Maple at school and exclusively MATLAB at NASA.

I'm learning Minitab now for Stats class. It's OK.

I use Mathematica exclusively because it's the one I know the best and there's lots of useful high energy physics packages that work with it!

Matlab by far....although I have used Mathematica and Maple before! I prefer Mathematica to Maple because it is a bit more powerful interms of the Math it can resolve.
