I'm "Lady Anne", I'm pursuing a degree in Nutrition in order to become a Registered Dietician.

I currently work part-time at an Orthopedic Surgeon and Internal Medicine Dr's office (husband and wife are both drs in the same office).

I originally wanted to go the nursing route and do obgyn, but I found out that nursing wasn't in God's plan...

After scratching off the nursing/midwife idea, I thought about geriatric nutrion, or child-diabetic nutrition, but I think I might be pulled more in the direction of teen-age girls. I have a heart for young ladies who are stressed to have the "barbie-doll" look to be appreciated. My heart crys out when I see a young girl starving herself to play the part or having children out of wed-lock just to feel love... I really want to work with girls like this and since Anorexia Nervosa and bulimia are pretty common among teenage girls, I think this is God's door for me to reach out to them.

I also have a young cousin who has anorexia nervosa and so this topic area really hits close to home for me.
