*Home visit*
I was able to see many of you while home and am sorry it did not work out to see even more people. It was a great encouragement to hear about things going on your lives as well as to hear how you are praying for me on a regular basis. It was nice being home, but there was also a culture shock after having been in England for 6 months and being used to that culture. It took me a while to feel comfortable there.
I was almost always on the go when there, but I was able to spend some time with Mum, Dad, Lucas and my aunt. It was so nice to see them after so many months. I did not need to make a single meal while home thanks primarily to Mum. If you get a chance, Mum put together a photo album from photos I have taken in England that really looks nice. I left it with Mum so please contact her if you would like to see it.
After my meetings in Indiana, I gave two collogues from OM who had never been to the States a tour of the Lincoln sites in Springfield. We had a lovely time in Springfield and were joined the next day by my brother and two other friends for a tour of Chicago. We all enjoyed the break after our intense meetings the prior week.
*Indiana Conference*
Taylor University
Before OM had its international IT meetings we all attended a IT conference for missionaries. There were missionaries from many different organizations from all different backgrounds that attended. It was quite nice to hear about all the IT issues that other organizations are experiencing and hear what they are doing to solve the issues. I was able to confirm that I am on target with my findings. I had not known what to expect from this conference and was pleasantly surprised.
At the OM IT meetings I presented several times. The OM international IT committee is limited in their knowledge of solutions for Windows XP and before I joined OM did not know what was technologically possible . I have found that my ministry for OM is hearing their needs and combining that with my experience to create solutions that they did not know even existed. They appeared quite excited about my solutions, were quite positive about the work I am doing, gave me some good feedback and can see the potential the solutions have to help those on the field fulfill their ministry. I came away from the meetings with much more to think about and work on.

*4th of July*
Well I experienced my first Independence Day away from America. I have spent it in Missouri once with friends before, but most years it has been at home with family. Before Kelli (my sister) left for the Logos II, we kids went out for a candle lit picnic dinner, threw the ball and Frisbee around, played cards, and watched fireworks. It was really special. This year was much different from that. It has barely been a blip on the radar. It was a hot day which is very unusual for England. After work I went with my flat mate to swim in the local river
and then watched Germany play in the World Cup with friends. It is not a special holiday at all here.
*Prayer Requests*
My requests have not changed much. I am still in need of God's help in all these areas.
1. That I can be more consistent in keeping God as the highest priority over work, friends and church.
2. I will get assistance in the work I am doing here in Carlisle.
3. Wisdom and provision in my work for the time that God would have me in Carlisle.
