Well it rained a bit this afternoon as it is known to do here in England. This weather might clear up or it might not this evening.
*Carlisle Ministry*
This morning I helped out with a Christian youth work that the vicar of St. John's Anglican Church holds for young boys. They play football (soccer) from 1000-1200. The boys have to bring a parent to be able to play. At the middle of the time, the vicar has a short Bible lesson over refreshments. There were 5 young boys in attendance. The vicar has wanted to expand the work from the two schools he currently has contacted to 9 schools, but has not had the people to assist him. Myself and two other young OM'ers were there to help out. Afterwards myself and the other OM'ers met with the vicar and prayed for those that attended. I had a brilliant time. We were an answer to prayer for the vicar so that he can expand the scope to more schools.

Being with OM I really do not get out into the community. So the opportunity mentioned above and the dancing I have started doing is allowing me to get out among the lost of Carlisle.

*OM Work*
This week I was finally able to release two modules related to OM's Linux project. You might be wondering why I as a person who predominately works with Microsoft would do that. Well the modules provide a service that allows non-technical system administrators for OM to duplicate the Windows XP operating system from one computer to another computer in drastically reduced time. This was a project that I had been working on for a long while so I was quite pleased to get it released.

I also held an in-service for those in our IT department on Thursday this week. It was a training and information transfer session related to how our new network in the new office is setup. (With the new office I installed 19 managed 3Com switches with 5 VLAN's including 5 Power over Ethernet switches and 80 Voice over IP phones.) I explained the technology being used with the new network and the decisions behind how the network was designed. The reception of the training was very good and I have been asked to give it again later this spring to OM's international IT committee.
